About The Kidney Community

Is there a support group out there for you?  Yes.  Millions of Americans are like you  and these groups are here to help.  Follow these links for Ohio and National organizations:

The Kidney Foundation of Ohio is established to provide a broad program of assistance to persons with kidney disease and their families

The National Kidney Foundation is dedicated to preventing kidney and urinary tract diseases, improving the health and well-being of individuals and families affected by kidney disease and increasing the availability of all organs for transplantation.

The site, www.donatelifeohio.org, allows you to sign up online to be an organ and tissue donor in Ohio. Your organ donation could save the lives of seven people, and your tissue donation will enhance the lives of more than 50 people.
