Duties include:
ï‚· R
ooming patients including medication reconciliation
ï‚· BP checks
ï‚· Prepare EMR chart before the patient visits
ï‚· Relaying messages between the doctor and your patients
ï‚· Check in, Check out
ï‚· Scanning/importing
ï‚· Supporting the physicians as needed
ï‚· Help keep the doctors on time
ï‚· Appointment scheduling, insurance verification
ï‚· No phlebotomy or injections; no EKGs!
​
The requirements:
  MA certificate 
  Two years of EPIC or similar EMR use
  Computer savvy
  Strong ability to prioritize, and keep track of many duties
  Have a reliable car to travel to Euclid, Mayfield Heights, and occasionally Chardon.
  Friendly disposition
  Excellent attendance history

Medical Receptionist 

​

Must have secretary or receptionist skills and EMR experience.

​

Job Description

​

We believe patient care begins at “Hello!” As our Medical Receptionist/Secretary you are the face of our office - in person and on the phone - warmly greeting and helping patients. You also support a smooth and efficient clinical workflow, and take on administrative responsibilities. If you are organized and detail oriented, and have the background we're looking for, this could be the right place for you.

Duties Include:

  • Checking in and checking out patients

  • Collecting patient payments 

  • Verify Insurance and update demographics

  • Medical Records Releases

  • Triage phones and faxes

  • Scheduling and confirming appointments

  • Social Media posts

  • Secretarial projects

  • Liaison with vendors and outside associates

Experience or Skills Required:

  • Healthcare secretarial, administrative and/or clinical experience, 2 years

  • Technology savviness, including web portals, Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Organizational skills/multitasking skills

  • Good writing skills and grammar

  • EMR and/or practice management and scheduling software

​

Experience Preferred: 

  • EPIC 

  • RSL Powerbill 

  • Medical Records Releases                  

  • Insurance Verification 

  • Credit Card Processing

  • Website editing or Blog posting

Typical Weekly Schedule:

  • Monday 9am-5pm

  • Tuesday 7:45-4:30pm

  • Wednesday 7:45-5pm

  • Thursday 7:45-4:30pm

  • Friday 9a-12p

Two locations:

  • 25301 Euclid Ave, 2nd floor

  • Hillcrest Atrium 6770 Mayfield Rd.

Job Type/Schedule: 

  • Full time (35-40 hours per week)

  • In person; this is not remote work

  • No weekends
