Nephrologist
We are an independent, close-knit group of three physicians and three APPs. For over 30 years we've been the premier private nephrology practice in the communities we serve in the lovely eastern suburbs of Cleveland at both University Hospitals and Cleveland Clinic hospitals. We are looking for an additional MD or DO to provide outstanding care to our renal patients. You’ll enjoy the benefits of private practice that feels like a family. ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Enjoy a mix of caring for renal patients in the hospitals, at the dialysis centers, and in the office.
We're looking for a physician that:

Demonstrates critical thinking and diagnostic reasoning skills in medical decision making while performing evaluation and management of patients.

Communicates effectively with patients, caregivers, referring providers, other members of the practice, and the patient’s healthcare team, as needed, to foster continuity of care and compliance through establishing good relationships.

Orders appropriate laboratory tests or radiologic procedures, along with following up on the results.

Recommends consults as appropriate.

Prescribes appropriate pharmacological agents as well as non-pharmacologic therapies (no controlled substances.)
-
Documents the plan of care, interventions and evaluations in a clear and concise manner in the patient’s medical record while following approved hospital and office policies and compliance standards.

Submits correct billing codes with appropriate diagnosis codes on a daily basis to the practice. Training in billing and coding is provided.

CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE: Candidates should posses a US state medical license and Board Certification in Nephrology (within 3 months of hire for Fellow applicants).
JOB SCHEDULE: Full Time, Monday - Friday; weekend call one in three with an APP.

APP - Nurse Practitioner (CNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
We are a tight-knit group of three physicians and three APPs, looking for a fourth) to join our team. The APPs in our practice work closely with the physicians to manage our renal patients across a range of nephrology needs, from hypertension, acute and/or chronic kidney disease, to dialysis. Our APPs have a nice mix of mostly inpatient care and rounding on our ESRD/ESKD patients in dialysis centers, but also seeing our patients in rehab facilities. We are proud to be the premier nephrology practice in the communities we serve, in Cleveland’s eastern suburbs at both University Hospitals and Cleveland Clinic hospitals.
The APP candidate should possess these skills:

EDUCATION: Masters or doctoral degree, from an accredited nurse practitioner or physician assistant school/program.
LICENSURE: Nationally certified and licensed (or soon will be) as a Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant by the State of Ohio Board of Nursing (NP) or Board of Medicine (PA).
EXPERIENCE: three years as an RN with critical care (ICU/ER) or nephrology experience, or employment as an APP in a hospital setting for three years or more..
JOB TYPE: Full Time, Monday- Friday and 26 weekend days a year (combo of Saturdays and Sundays), and two Federal holidays a year in rotation with the other APPs.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant (MA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients. This is a full-time, Monday thru Friday, on-site role at Cleveland Kidney & Hypertension Consultants, Inc.'s main office located in Euclid, OH. The role involves providing direct patient care, assisting physicians, and maintaining patient records. The Licensed Practical Nurse or Medical Assistant will also collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.

QUALEFICATIONS:

Patient Care, Nursing, and Medical Assistance skills

Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with facility policies.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Previous EMR experience; EPIC experience a plus.

Technology expertise.

Have reliable transportation for travel to Euclid, Mayfield Heights, and Chardon

Proficient in medical terminology

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and patient care.

Active LPN licensure - in Ohio or multi-state or Medical Assistant Certification

Experience working in a nephrology or hypertension clinic is a plus
